The 911 Call

A caller to 911 reported that a silver Ford F-150 pickup truck with a specific license plate had run the caller off the road at mile marker 88 on Highway 1 in Mendocino County. Approximately eighteen minutes after the 911 call, a California Highway Patrol officer located a silver Ford F-150 with the matching license plate nineteen miles south of the reported location, consistent with the truck's continued southbound travel. As officers approached the stopped vehicle, they smelled marijuana. They searched the bed of the truck and found four large bags of marijuana weighing approximately 30 pounds. The occupants were arrested.
